Join us for a 5-week Self-Defense Series designed to empower participants of all ages through practical training and physical conditioning. This program focuses on foundational self-defense techniques, situational awareness, discipline, focus, and overall fitness in a supportive and encouraging environment.

Participants will learn how to:

• Increase awareness of their surroundings

• Recognize and respond to potentially unsafe situations

• Develop basic self-defense skills

• Build physical strength, coordination, and confidence

• Improve focus and self-discipline

This class is free and open to all ages. High school students are especially encouraged to attend, but the program is welcoming to anyone interested in learning practical safety skills and improving fitness.

Join us for a creative and relaxing Shell Painting Workshop led by Deer Isle artist Dave Taylor. Inspired by the natural beauty of the Maine coast, this hands-on class invites participants to transform locally sourced shells into unique works of art.

Dave will guide you through the process of preparing shells, designing your artwork, and applying paint techniques that highlight the natural texture and shape of each piece. 

This class is perfect for beginners and experienced artists alike. The cost is $30 and includes all materials. No prior painting experience is necessary. Come enjoy an inspiring evening of art, community, and coastal charm.
