In addition to regular programming, the Island Community Center sometimes offers special classes and events. These may include CPR certifications, Hunter Safety courses, art or cooking lessons, field trips, and more.

End of Summer Music Event

Summer is coming to an end. Let’s celebrate the season with some fantastic music by Bagaduce Music Northern New England Ensemble. Food available from the Sand Barr food cart. Snacks and drinks also available. Let’s have fun – Monday, September 18 from 5:30 – 7pm!
Hunter safety course
October 21 – 22 | Time TBA
The Maine Department of Inland and Fisheries is offering this course on Saturday, October 21 and Sunday, October 22. Attendees must participant in both classes. The minimum age is 10 years old. Contact Jeannie at 207-267-2735 to sign up. There is a $5 suggested donation for taking this course.
The times for the course will be announced closer to the date.
