About Camp Kooky
Camp Kooky has been the island’s favorite summer day camp for over 20 years. Six weeks of outdoor adventures, creative projects, swimming, hiking, and friendships that last a lifetime await your camper.
What makes Camp Kooky special?
Every week brings new adventures:
- Art workshops with Explorations Learning Center
- Nature hikes with Island Heritage Trust
- Swim lessons at the Blue Hill YMCA
- Story time at Stonington Public Library
- Zumba, outdoor games, and so much more
In partnership with Deer Isle–Stonington Elementary School, we also provide Extended Year Services for qualifying students.

8 am – 3 pm
Price
$150 per session
10% discount for multi-child families
Scholarships considered upon request

Anne’s Scholarship Fund honors the late Anne Billings Foster, who gave our camp its playful name. Thanks to generous donors, every child can experience the magic of Camp Kooky, regardless of family finances. No child should miss out on summer adventures because of cost.
