The Island Community Center offers early childhood programs that support learning and development through music, movement, and play. These engaging activities provide young children and their caregivers with opportunities to connect, explore, and have fun in a welcoming environment.
Music & Movement
Join us for Kindermusik: Early Childhood Music & Movement. This joyful class designed for children ages 0–5 and their caregivers. Offered by Deer Isle Adult & Community Education and hosted in the Greenlaw Room, this program brings families together through singing, dancing, and hands-on instrument play.
The program runs twice per year, includes free sessions, and features take-home materials to continue the learning at home.
Toddler Time
Mon, 10-11am
Bring your toddlers and we’ll provide the fun! We offer a variety of toys — including a kid-favorite, our bounce house! Let your little ones run, play, and burn off energy in the gym while you connect with other parents.
During nice weather, the group may head across the street to the Stonington playground.
The suggested drop-in donation is $3 per visit.
